Sunville Rail were awarded the contract by our client BAM Nuttall as part of CP6 Feeder Renewals

to carry out works installing UTX’s & associated route works across various sites in Kent and Sussex.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sunville Rail were required to supply the necessary labour, plant, equipment and materials to

undertake the construction of 6 way & 12 way duct route UTX’s for various feeder locations within the

Kent and Sussex area as part of CP6 feeder renewals.

As part of the package Sunville Rail have completed UTX construction at the following sites;

• Bower Hill Lane 2 road UTX,

• Chislehurst 3 Track UTX,

• Orpington 4 Track UTX,

• Lenham 2 road UTX,

• Chelsfield 2 road UTX

• Preston Park 2 road UTX

• Shakespeare 1 road UTX

• Eastbourne 2 road UTX

• Dunton Green 2 road UTX

Sunville Rail were responsible for the below whilst working on these sites;

• Provide all plant and equipment to complete scope of works.

• Provide all provision of labour

• Organise all aggregate and material deliveries to site

• Dropping & reinstating conductor rail

• HV Comp responsibilities including securing HV trough routes

• Install 6way Cubis ducting or flexi duct routes.

• Supply RRV and associated equipment

• Supply excavator machine, drivers and associated banksmen.

• Carry out machine and hand excavation under track for UTX

• Whack and pack reinstated track ballast

• Removal and disposal of inert waste

• Carry out track monitoring services

• Provide planned look ahead and hour by hour reporting of works

• Provide Handback Engineer

• Install temporary works equipment and provide temporary works qualified staff
