Sunville rail Has been awarded contract by our client BAM Nuttall as part of CP6 Feeder Renewals St2 to carry out works installing URX’s across various sites in Kent and Sussex.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sunville Rail were required to supply the necessary labour, plant, equipment and materials to undertake URX and platform cable installation to various feeder locations within Kent and Sussex area as part of CP6 feeder renewals.

Sunville Rail carried out URX works across the following sites;

Newhaven URX, Selmeston URX, Firle URX.

Works also included installing Cubis ducting along platforms at Newhaven Station and Glynde Station.

Sunville Rail were responsible for providing the following across URX sites

•Provide All Site labour provisions

•Provide all plant and machinery provisions

•Setup road closure boundary

•Cut out and excavate trench in roadway to install 6-way Cubis ducting.

•Suction excavate roadway

•Reinstate aggregate under road crossing

•Install new tarmac to existing roadway

•Reinstate kerbing

•Removal of spoil

•Overbanding

•Road line Painting

•Platform line painting

•Install new platform tactile’s
