PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sunville Rail Limited successfully completed the diversion of 2 x Grid Feeders at Stephenson Street as part of the Twelve Trees Park development project.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Berkeley Homes acquired land located in West Ham (Stephenson Street) for development. There were four existing 25kV Network Rail (NR) cables running across the northeast corner of this site. There are also 2 pilot cables running within the same line. These cables run along the boundary in London Underground Ltd land above ground on concrete posts/hangers. At a certain point, these cables become buried (in ducts) and enter the Berkeley Homes site identification and then into the Network Rail’s Substation located at the northern end of the Berkeley’s site.

These cables require diversion around the perimeter of the Berkeley Homes site, running adjacent to the LUL Jubilee line and then adjacent to the NWR line/Northern boundary.
