As part of the Sandilands phase 3 construction works Sunville Rail were awarded to carry out the civils works for the project

working on adjacent the TFL tram line at Sandilands and around the Lloyd Park.

Sandilands Tunnel Lighting Phase 3 Renewal Project replaced the current lighting system in Sandilands Tunnel for a more

effective, resilient and maintainable solution.

Sunville rail also carried out works creating secured fence compound and access for UPS and DNO section along the tram line.

Scope of Works included;

• Two Road 4 Track 150mm duct Undertrack Crossing .

• 3 x Aqua chambers

• 35m 4 way 150mm duct lineside .

• Installation 100m GRP high level lineside handrail.

• Removal of 100m steel redundant handrail, high level.

• Install of 400m Troughing.

• 1 x 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mmLighting Column base .

• Rosehill Crossing .

• 50m compound fencing .

• Double Vehicle and single access gates.

• Imported type 1 to Formation level for Grasscrete system.

• Install Grasscrete system and seed

• Supply or all security and SACS .

• Supply of all Hiab lorries for client cabling works.

• Installation of UPS building

• Retaining Walls

• Lighting Columns and Bollards

• Security Fencing and access gates

• Install handrail

• Install Anti Trespass system

• UKPN Base

• DNO Base

• UPS Base

• Transformer Base

• Machine excavation and levelling

• Machine hole auguring
