Project Overview

As part of the 2019 Kent feeder upgrade Sunville Rail successfully delivered the replacement of existing HV cables with XLPE and new Pilot cables for feeder 1014 .

Scope of works consisted of :

·       New Undertack Crossings.

·       Under Road and Farm Crossing.

·       Route Clearance.

·       New C1/9 SCT routes.

·       Lift and Relay of existing routes.

·       Installation of HV Cables via cable train.

·       Installation of HV cables via winch method.

·       Security of newly laid cables until into service.

·       Recovery of existing cables and safe disposal.
