Sunville Rail Sponsor Wakehams green FC

Sunville Rail are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring Wakehams Green FC for the upcoming 2023/24 season as part of our continued support for local grassroots football.

Wakehams Green Football Club is based in Crawley, West Sussex and will be playing in the Gray Hooper Holt LLP Mid Sussex Football league for the 23/24 season.

Wakehams Green FC was founded in response to profound impacts of Covid-19 in Crawley, not only on the health of the population but also economically, with the highest percentage of people placed on furlough and made redundant in their jobs. Mental health issues are increasingly on the rise, and the founders wanted to provide a club where locals can play football, coach, and assist with the day to day operations of an amateur club.

The club has won back to back league titles since forming in 2021 and will be looking to add to their trophy hall with another successful season playing in their new Sunville Rail Sponsored kits.
