Voluntary Fleet Pond Nature Reserve works

Sunville Rail carried out voluntary works alongside our client Octavius Infrastructure to support 'The Fleet Pond Society' on a community day clearing an area of land from vegetation adjacent to walkways making the Reserve more enjoyable for visitors, As part of our continued social value support Sunville Rail supplied the de-vegetation gang and equipment for the day to help clear the area.
Fleet Pond is SSSI protected and the largest freshwater lake in Hampshire, the Pond itself is 52 acres so covers some 35% of the total area of the reserve.
