A virtually risk-free RISQS audit for 2020

During what can only be described as the strangest of times, Sunville Rail were invited to have their annual RISQS audit via Microsoft Teams in June.  

The HSQE and admin teams for Sunville stepped up to the plate and quickly realised the advantages of holding the audit this way…it was safer for all involved, there was far less travelling, various members of the team could screen share….and of course, the HSQE Manager could get away with wearing flip-flops to work because no one could see them!

After three and a half days, we are pleased to announce Sunville Rail once again passed with flying colours.  Whilst sadly the 5 star ratings system is no longer in place, we can confirm we passed with no observations or non-conformances being raised.  Further, we were awarded a positive element, (which the auditor mentioned he rarely does), as follows:

The company demonstrated a comprehensive response to business continuity during the current pandemic to ensure that business operations can continue safely and minimising risk to employees.
